Where is the Sirius radio receiver?

Does anyone know where the Sirius radio receiver box is in my ‘06 3500 megacab. It’s factory installed with the factory radio. I need to find it to extend the cable so that I can get reception with my camper on. The receiver is not above the glove box or behind the right kick panel or under any of the seats. , Is it behind one of the rear seats. ? Or maybe in the dash, or is it possibly integral with the radio. The dealer didn’t know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In my 05 it is way up under the dash on the drivers side. But I was under the understanding that it was behind or under the back seats in 06.

In my '07 it is on the back wall of the cab, behind the back seat on the passenger side.

Is it behind the heavy cardboard/fibre mat that is between the back of the seat and the back wall of the cab, or is it visible once the seat is removed? Is yours a megacab? And about how big is the reciever? Thanks, this is very helpful.

Mine was behind the insulation on the passenger side. It is about 6" x 8" x 1". On my truck, I could feel the lump in the insulation with the back seat removed. My truck is not a mega cab, just a quad cab.



The only reason why I know all this is, I was trying to use the existing Sirius antenna for a different Sirius radio, but the connector was different and would not work.

I have not seen mine, but the service manual (found for free on the hemi site) says its behind the rear passenger seat mounted on the back wall. I tried to see it without taking the seat out but could not.



I sold the pickup camper so I never ended looking for it anymore.



The service manual shows 2 inputs for antennas if I recall.
