Where to buy VP44

I have a friend looking to buy a VP44 for his 99 Cummins 2500 truck.



Can you tell me where to get a decent rebuilt unit? Also, any opinions on the Diesel Dynamics rebuilt pum?

I would call Piers....

He has NEW ones for I believe $1350... . I can't help you on a rebuilt one. In fact, I think I heard somewhere that they don't even sell rebuilt VP44's. Someone please correct me if I am incorrect on this.

DEZLPWR, I have heard of a few TDR members on this BB say they had a REMAN VP44 installed in their 24v equipped Rams by their dealer under warranty. I believe it was stated that these units were denoted by their black painted appearance.

Yes I have a Dealer installed black painted Reman VP-44 pump on my truck. Cost from dealer was $900 covered by warrenty.

I would check your local Bosch Pump shop and see what they can do. I was down talking to my local guy and he gave me a price on a VP44 that was lower than any I had seen before. After that I would try Piers.
