This coming year I plan on making some improvements to my ol' Cummins and have never put him on a dyno. It's all stock and such, but i'm curious as to what i'm making at the wheels and stuff. I live in Columbia, MO, so does anyone know where I can take it to get it dyno'd? Thanks!

hello?

"Testing, One, Two... . *tap tap tap*is thing on??" Hehe

So who has an idea of what kinds of places have dynos? Obviously someone has to know, cause alot of you have had your trucks dyno'd. Can someone chime in? Thanks alot!

ding!

Thats a great idea! Apparently I'm not the only person that can't find one. Any of you that know where these things hide, please speak up!

Right here in town (Mansfield) @ (next to) the air port. $100 for the runs. Also in town there is a place, however I'm told they are no longer doing it. It was reported to be $65 for the service.

A small town north of us, out in the sticks, there is a diesel repair shop. I'm thinking it was $150 last I called. I could not say what type of equipment is being used.

I know od two types. Load and inertia. If I recall correctly, the type Pastor Bob overheated his truck on was the load dyno. The one I watched at Muncie was an inertia. Anyone else notice the gal @ Muncie this last summer providing the reading for the dyno!!!!???? HOLY COW MAN!!!

Try your local Cummins shop. One of the guys I work with used to work for Cummins West here in Sacramento and said they had a dyno. I don't know if they'll dyno you without working on your truck or not, but it would be worth a try.

Yes, on north Rangeline is the Cummins dealer. I'd assume they have a dyno. Forrest was the B-man a few years ago. I dont see why they wouldnt let you dyno just to get a baseline. $150? Sheez; that's more than I paid for the guages on my pickup. I can do a lot of tweaking for that kind of money. Guess the economy isnt so bad after all, huh?

Hey Daniel, long time no see! Yeah, Forrest still is the man up there, helped with my truck a couple of times. I'll have to check in on that. After I figure some other problems out first :(
