I broke the return line on my VE-pumped engine, and a new line is like $80 or so. I was thinking if I could find a banjo fitting and replace the potmetal line with some 1/4" tubing, I'd go that route instead, but I need to find a barbed banjo fitting, and an online search has yielded little. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Daniel

DP, could you use the existing banjo and swage some line on it? If you get the right size plastic and warm it up, it should stay on there. Not much pressure on that line anyways.

gitchesum- only problem with that is, it is a restricted orifice banjo bolt, so I HAVE to keep the banjo. That is why I was inquiring about a barbed fitting.

Pete- thanks for the idea. Are you talking about plain rubber/ plastic air line-type tubing?

I've also considered JB Weld... .

Yeah DP, plastic air line. They have stuff that is diesel resistant. I am going to use 1/2" on mine for a new fuel line.
