I broke the latch on the factory plug when I removed it to hook up my TTPM (see attached photo). Any idea where I can get a replacement? The dealer wants $300 for the entire harness and doesn't sell the connector seperately. I called Edge but they refused to sell me just the plastic connector. So far the only suggestion has been "junk yard". Does anyone sell these or am I really stuck with finding one in the boneyards? Searched here and found nothing :(

Freightliner dealer should have them. Same plug as is used for headlight connection on SD's and Classics. If you want, I will get the part number when I get to work in the morning. I can't remember if it is Packard or Delphi. Let me know if you want the part number. Probably a $1. 00 part.

Thanks for the replies!

After some internet searching for weatherpak connectors I found a source for $3. 80.

mwilson, if you wouldn't mind getting the Freightliner part number I would appreciate it. There's a dealer nearby :)

Pep Boys is a little farther, but if I'm down that way I may check that out too.

Many thanks for the help!

Sorry about the delay in response. Snowing like crazy here and we are still busy. I guess people figure that a storm is the best time to come in for parts!!

That connector is a PAC 12015793. I am out of it right now, but verified the configuration in the book. Am hoping that your dealer will have some. It sells here for about . 95 cents. Hope this helps you. Have a good day.

Mike :D :D

Trying to make all the proper connections to a multi-pin plug sure wouldn't be one of my favorite tasks! Some require a special tool to remove and reinsert individual pins into the holder after connecting the wire to it. Other than the impulse to return the plug to its pristine original condition, the cable-tie solution sure looks lots more foolproof...

Please note the rubber plugs in the connector (see picture in the first post). This connector is nothing more than a cap, there are no pins in the connector. Perhaps you are thinking of the mating connector which is attached to the harness?

No thanks on the cable tie method, I fixed it correctly by replacing the part.
