Where to find a TTPM ? (DD's version of the Edge EZ)

Does Smarty sw1 kill ecm's?

FP Install Question

Have been searching classifieds on several forums and keep coming up empty. Lots of regular EZ's available, but want to try the milder "timing only" setting of the Diesel Dynamics version TTPM. If anyone has any leads on one, I'm interested.

Also, in which order would you hook up the map sensor module when you already have a map sensor adaptor for the wire tap box? Does the wire tap box boost module connect to the Map sensor, then the TTPM's connect to it, or just not use one if you want "timing only"?

Thanks. .

Phil,

I have a Y2K 6 speed that I had DD uprate with stage 2 injectors and TTPM for heavy towing. I switched to Smarty and may still have the TTPS in the garage. I live in Murrieta CA. Let me know if you are still interested and I'll check for it.

gtqckett, Yes, I am interested. If you happen to come across it and it is in decent condition that would be great.
We have the same year truck, which is a good thing.

Also had one other person PM me that they may know where there is one in very good condition. So hopefully one will become available somewhere.

Prefer the healthiest condition but let's see what is available first.

I appreciate the efforts!

Phil,

Yes, I found it. Had place it in a plastic bag in my Cummins cabinet. Mine is 3-4 years old and worked flawlessly. You can contact me off site at -- email address removed --.

Follow up:

Ended up liking the TTPM box's mild timing increase, plus smooth throttle curve so much I picked up a second one as a backup (got a friend that's trying to snag it outta my hands :-laf). This was a nicely programmed little box and I recommend trying one (if you can find it) especially for anyone that tows heavy.
