I am just asking for research conciderations. But IF I were to change my rear end from 4:10 to 3:54 (I have 3500 NV4500 2wd Dana 80 w/o limited slip) were is a good place to look at buying new gears? I have read most of the posts on here and well aware of the pro's and con's of this. I absoluetly HATE my MPG and hate that my engine has to run so hard to stay in traffic on the interstate. I already did the taller tire thing and while it helped a little it still sucks. My towing days are over. I have thought about trading for a new truck but mine's paid off and I dont need truck payments right now. But I can come up with $$ for a new ring and pinion. But I dont know where to look. TIA

call randy's ring and pinion and ask for MAC and look for factory take out gears, that way they would be spicer and still a little cheaper.
