Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Where to find shifter and other places for t case input shaft

i have 2 questions. i just picked up a nv 4500 for my swap and it has the old style top plate on it but it has no shifter in it. the hole is empty. where can i find one of these reasonably priced? my next ? is where to find a 29 spline input shaft for my t case, i have called bluementhal and standard transmission and they are both around 200 bucks, anywhere cheaper? any help is greatly appreaciated. Thanks
