I'm sure this has been asked before, but working under the dash kinda' sucks, just looking for an easy spot to wire in for the ignition circiut and lights for gauges, ('98 is no longer stock) . thanks Bob

The cigarette lighter is an excellent source for key switched 12 volt power. Note that is the cigarette lighter, not the power supply port. The power supply port will not be controlled by the key switch.

I thought that for you EGT gauge you wanted constant power to that gauge? Is this not right? I was going to wire it into the power supply port, but now I am thinking that I shouldn't. Also, which two wires are the hot and the ground on the inside of the lights swith? My truck looks like it has two wires bound together, and then a whole mess of wires on the back. thanks for the replies in advance. Travis

I can't help you much Travis, my DiPricol pyro does not need a 12 volt power source. As for the wires tot eh light switch just use a test light to find the one that dims with the dimmer and tap that one for the lighting. I don't know the color on your truck. The power is easioest to get from the cigarette lighter and they can be grounded anywhere on the body of the truck.
