I have about ran out of resources, and have no more ideas... Anyone heard of where you can find these elusive strands of 12 volt Christmas lights?? Would really appreciate some replies!

I thought about an inverter, but the strands of lights are too long. . every year, I string up a few lights in the cab, and put little jalapeno pepper light covers over them... . it looks pretty neat, but I am tired of buying batteries all the dang time!!

I have these cheesy lights embedded in my purple fur dash cover to match the rear view mirror dingle ball dice lights. ;)

Moderator note: I edited the background on that website so's no one here would be identified or offended.

A friend of mine used to put Christmas lights in his car every year. He used the miniature lights that are in series. (When one bulb burns out the whole string goes out until you replace the burned out bulb. ) He would cut them up and rewire them so only a few lights were in series. (I don't remember exactly how many he used. ) He then hooked all the series circuits in parallel. worked fine!
