After having some engine issues. I have decided to bite the bullet and put gauges on. I thought I seen a pillar gauge pods already molded in the correct color. Maybe I am dreaming. Best place to get them?

I ordered my gauges from Geno's. The triple pod that I ordered is Taupe--the color that the grab handle was. It is an Autometer pod. I had read in the past that some people were having to cut off the grab handle and mount the new one to the old. But this is a stand alone unit--mounts by itself with a screw to same place that your grab handle mounted. Looks good, has the same texture/grain that the stock one has.

I don't think they are actually molded in color, unless it is black. But I have seen different places offering them painted to match. Sorry none come to mind. Alternatively you could pick up factory color interior paint from the dealership or get real close at an autoparts store.

Painting them is no big deal. I was worried about how it would look since I am not a good painter but mine turned out like the factory w/o much involved. I do suggest using a spray plastic surf prep to get better paint adherence.

i painted mine myself and it was quite easy. i just went to an automotive paint supplier and told them what i wanted to do. they told me to use a vinyl die like the dash repair guys use. they colour matched it and gave me a cleaner to use before i sprayed it. it came out as good as factory!
