Where to get a new A/C system?

New HS18 A/C Compressor: Air Conditioning and Heating &amp AC Compressor



I am in need of replacing the a/c system... . and this is what I have found looks like it is about half as much as other places I have checked.

Probably want to get the drier / accumulator while you're at it. I've purchased lots of front-end parts from these guys in the past. Quality stuff & FAST shipping.

I have had the a/c kit replaced..... does anyone know what the temp should be comming out of the vents..... as of right now it seems to be about 10 degs warmer than it was with my old compressor.

I took it back to the shop that installed it... . but it seems that they did not know what the presure needed to be... ..... I may have picked the wrong shop.



I did a search and found this... .

On R-134 system the cut off pressure is about 26# but i don't believe the 06 has a clutch cycling switch. At idle your pressure seem to be right, evaporator temperature is 40deg at 36#. Normal would be 25/43. How did the trouble start? The compressor won't run if the fan is not operating.



What is idle presure? on high side and low side?
