24v head on a 12v?

Is there an easy way?

I noticed this morning that somehow the clips that hold on my quad cab door panels to the doors have been busted.

Does anybody know of any places that may sell quad cab door panels??? Dodge wants over $300 each. I called a couple of wrecking yards and they all said that they never see Dodge trucks.

So where do I go???

Kevin:

Is it where those little christmas tree looking plastic things sit on the panel itself or is it just those xmas tree posts? If it is the posts napa sells them for around . 50 cents each instead of the dealer at over 2. 50 each. If it is the tabs where those posts mount on the panel then bummer but 300. 00 whoa baby that is steep for 2. 00 worth of plastic almost dejavue of the fuel filter from the dealer. Might just try superglueing (or good adhesive of your choice) those xmas tree posts to the panel somehow you got nothing to lose at this point if the mount tabs are broken. Once you get them on they shouldn't see much stress unless your taking the panel off again.

Barry,

Thanks for the heads up about Napa. . but it is actually that the posts have broken off of the door panel. I was looking at them pretty closely. . and I doubt that they can be glued together... . it looks like a very violent separation of the two... LOL

I would try this!

Hi Kev,

I'm on the road now but will be home by end of week. (I think).

There is a kit for fixing motorcycle fairings. . Includes some fiberglass sheets, glue, cleaner and primer. I ordered mine through

Aurora Honda but any motorcycle shop can get it. Tucker Rocky mountain stock it. It will cost around $35. My kit is used up or would offer to try it. Ran out of glue. This stuff really works. I had a mount break of of a fairing, looked like a post about 1" high that went into a rubber grommet. Built up another "post" using this stuff and was still holding when I sold the bike. Now if I could remember t he name of it. (HA). Will Email you when I get home and find the name.
