Those expensive kits are for 2nd gens with p-pumps. All we get is a spring, not a kit. They don't show them on their sites. You'll need to call PDR or if you know of a Bosch authorized shope nearby you could run the part number by them and have them order it. www.scheiddiesel.com is a Bosch shop and will order you want whatever you want. You'll need the part number when requesting this spring. If you ask most vendors for a 1st gen gov spring, you'll likely get a HUH???
I stopped by my local Bosch shop last week and ordered the spring for my 93. Took 2 days to get, which was no big deal. I also picked up the orings for the throttle shaft and fuel screw, and the gasket for the pump top just in case I need them. $25 out the door.
Part numbers for the orings were:
1 460 210 319
1 460 210 008
and the gasket:
1 461 015 301
They gave me 2 different gaskets for the pump top because they were not sure which one was correct, so the above part number may not be right.
Marc, it's a little late now, but the entire VE gasket/seal rebuild kit is Bosch part number DGK121 and runs ~$15. You'd have a baggy full of o-rings/seals and whatnot for future use, including the ones you just bought.
