where to get lubrication engineer's fuel additive in sf bay area

hey, guys



i've been hearing a lot of lubrication engineers fuel additive but don't know where to get it in the san francisco bay area. is there some kind of outlet that i can go get some? thanks.

I think it's only available in pints at approx $7. 00 ea.



I tried one pint. Quiets motor, which tells me it's providing lubricity to the injector pump. Some say that fuel additives can provide better mileage, but LE didn't for me. I've also used Red-line, with same report as LE.



I'm now using Howes Meaner Power Cleaner. Found a source near me to purchase at $7. 95 qt. which is a couple of bucks lower than what you pay at truck stops. I like this stuff. Quiets motor more than the other two, and I'm getting 1/2+ mpg. , but can't say for sure it's because of the Howes, since my truck now has 12K and it may just be the function of breaking in.

I ordered mine direct from Lubrication Engineers. They will sell you a case of 24 bottles, good for something like 3000 gallons. I think it was $5. 00 and change per bottle. plus shipping. No CA tax. Look at the LE website, and call their 1-800 number. I think I calculated the cost per gallon as being around $. 056 or so. If you cannot locate the number, email me direct and I will look it up on the receipt. Matt

I can't fins the Howes Meaner Power Cleaner. I would like to try some though.



I've used the DCI + and am happy with it. I've also used Stanadyne and am happy with that as well. Both quite motor and both help me go farther on a tank of fuel. Not too much but a noticeable amount.
