2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Where to get the sending unit repair kit?

While looking at archive posts on the TDR, I read that there was a repair kit availible for 3 dollars to fix the tank sending unit Anyone know where to find it??

The guy with the $3 repair parts website has disappeared, here's a couple others with instructions on doing it yourself. My experience is that it isn't worth modifying a sender that has already failed, it won't last long and you'll be in the tank again. Instead spring $35 for a new sender and modify it before installation. Another cause of sender failure to beware of while you've got the module out is the sharp tips of some self tapping screws that have been known to wear a hole in the float.
