Where to order auto trans parts?

I need to get some aftermarket A518 parts. Mainly a 1-2 Accumulator piston with steel rings (hopefully billet machined piston) and some heavy duty band struts and other gizmos. I'd like a new OD solonoid setup too, but I think I can get that at Napa.



Do popular vendors here sell that kind of stuff? Most of them advertise their entire transmissions... but do they sell special parts like this? Their sites don't show anything that I've seen. Any favorites?

They all source the parts pretty much from the same place. A lot of times your local supply houses are your best bet.

I shopped around online and decided on bulkpart myself. PATC is another source. I heard a rumor that DTT get's some of their stuff from PATC. Anyone confirm or deny that claim?
