Anyone have a recommendation for a good place to purchase Hypertherm plasma cutter consumables?

My local store stocks a few things, can order other stuff, but is a lot more money than Amazon or other online places.

One place I see is www.weldersupply.com but ....is that a good place?

I see there are quite a few websites that sell the stuff, but want to make sure I get REAL Hypertherm parts, not some cheap knockoffs.

I'm looking for parts for a 45XP.

Thanks!

Dan

Just checked Hypertherm dealers in my area using the Hypertherm website....all three of the welding supply houses here are dealers including Matheson Tri-Gas and Airgas...do you have access to either of those guys??

Yes, Airgas is the local welding store. They want more than their online price. Go figure.

Their prices for machines are less than online - so I've got no problem buying from them for the big ticket items, but the consumables are too high.

Thank you for that link. I’ll check it tomorrow. I’m bushed.

I like giving local the business, but when we’re talking about $100 difference from what I see online, and it is a hobby, I can’t justify that.

Well, I ordered 3 consumable kits from Weldersupply.com. Hopefully they are all OEM Hypertherm and will arrive in good condition. Saved over $150 from there vs local.

I played with the plasma this weekend - I shoulda bought one years ago. Very pleased with the performance. Of course I don't really have any other plasma to compare to besides the one I used a while ago.

They have a "flushcut" kit that allows you to cut off bolt heads, etc and not hurt the base material. Sounds good for those bushing bolts that always rust in place.. That is one of the kits I ordered.
