2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Where to put resonator?

Hi everyone,

I straightpiped my truck(resonator too) a month ago and the drone is too much for me. I got my hands on another stock resonator (thanks to pay it foreward) and will be re-installing it. My ? is; Where should I put it, where the origional one was or more towards the engine? I read somewhere about the different effects placement has but I can't remember the results. I mostly want to get rid of the low frequency drone and keep the f-16 sound outsied the tailpipe

Any thoughrs would be appreciated

Resonator location

John, Rip Rook and I installed mine next to the transmission, basically on the first straight section after the bend from the downpipe. Works great! Give him a call 866-211-1533, he has experience in installing exhaust systems and will give you an honest answer.
