Where to put temp probe in a NV5600?

I just got a Di-Pricol - 2" OPTIX 100°-280° Temperature Gauge with 1/8 NPT and I need to know how everyone is installing. I looked at fast coolers and it says that it has a place to install but it is 1/4 NPT plug. Any help would be appreciated.

if you run the fast coolers remove the magnetic rod and use that port. thats what i did



if your not going to run the fast coolers just drill and tap one of the PTO covers

Another easy option is to mount it in the drain plug hole. You just need to find a reducer to go from the size of your drain plug threads to the threads (1/8" NPT) on your sending unit.
