Competition Where to start

O. K. , let's just say that a guy was thinking about turning his '95 2WD 3500 dually into a truck-pullin' machine. Where would he start? For example, are there organizations or websites? Are 2WD's even used? I know I've only seen 4WD's, that I can think of.

There is a 2wd that pulls back east, a first gen if I remember right, no bed, saw pics in the readers rigs but cant remember whos file it was in . . . .
