It was fought on Breed's Hill because the Americans had a funky map and went to the wrong place. They thought they were on Bunker Hill though.

Not every time. *I* knew that. A somewhat more esoteric question might be, "Which hills did they level to fill in the 'Back Bay' section of Boston, and possibly other parts of the city?

Also, looking at the current City of Boston from the air, can you determine where the original land mass of the city was, and how?
