Yet another tire question

I'm looking to ceramic coat my turbo in the near future I think:confused: Does anyone have any thoughts on it?

Thanks,

Chas.

I've seen pepople do the low temp coating that kinda looks like chrome and it may flake off. It's only rated for like 1300 degrees. Jet Hot and HPC have a high temp rated for 2000, but doesn't have the same fininsh. It looks like flat paint, usually in black or gray. I'm looking at doing mine as well and I will probably just go with the high temp.

I had my exhaust section coated by Swain. It's a light grey color, kinda of a rough surface texture, but it's not going to flake off. I just got my ATS manifold back from JetHot. I went with the 2000 coating in grey. This stuff is smooth, dark grey battleship color. They said it won't flake so I got the inside coated also, got to keep the heat spinning the turbo.

I had my ex manifold done in 2000 black by JetHot a couple of years ago. It has held up well. Any misplaced antiseize showed up pretty ugly though. That may not be a problem with the grey.
