Trans fluid Mopar ATF+4 over $7. 00 per quart! Must have gold flakes in there somewhere.

Yeah I know, I wanted to service my transmission and had a hard time just finding the stuff. You can buy Amsoil sythetic

for a little over $7. 00 a quart



Tom G. found some Valvoline Maxlife for 2. 44 a Qt and it is supposed to meet +4 specs. I called Valvoline and the tech said

it was fine to use in +4 requirements.

I tried some and will be testing it this weekend in some hot weather and pretty long grades.



When I modify the transmission It will be changed over over to either full synthetic or Dextron lll. Lots of guys with the modified transmissions are using straight Dextron lll and seem to like it.
