Can someone tell me where I can find the horn in the engine compartment. Little thing is hiding somewhere. I want to fire my air horns off of it somehow...

Thanks

front drivers side, under and a little forward of the power distribution box. I think the easiest way to get to it is to remove the rubber fender insert. I still have to do that for my horn upgrade, so let us know.

Found it earlier this afternoon. Was able to reach up with one hand and disconnect the electrical connection. It isn't one of those *$#^& fittings that needs to be unlocked. It just pulled off. What I did was use in line tap connectors to splice my feed to a relay in my toolbox. Mind you, there's only room for one hand up by the horn and the wires don't have much slack. But I got her done. Now, when I hit my stock horn, my train horn blasts away.

There are two horns up there and one is easy to miss. Each horn has its own connector and wire going back. I removed them both but only used one of the set of wires to fire my new horns. I wish I had left one so that I would still get a chirp when I set the alarm.

Where is everyone putting the horns and the compressor. I have mine sitting in the garage because I can't find a good place to mount them.

Room fer only one horn

I bought two of those little $35 air horns and hoped to install them inside the driver's side wheel well. There's room enough for one but it turns out that's enough. Now I gotta find somebody to buy the other one. Train horns they ain't, but they didn't cost much money either.
