Hoping to stir the pot a little... . i'm getting ticked off that no one is making a REALLY POWERFUL injector for our trucks! i mean as soon as i buy the PowerWagon Injectors, these Lucas Injectors come out for sale. I mean when can we get a set that is the MAX {absolutely possible} badd a$$ beyond our imaginations... look at these DD4'rs they got now for the newer trucks... i'm very dissatisfied with the PW's now, and not even sure the 25 more horse i'll get from $400 bucks worth of Lucas's is gonna be enough. I want to keep my pump working reliably, because at this point i have a 1990 non-intercooled guy kicking my butt on the track with only a pump tweak, i don't get it! he didn't spend a dime on upgrades... go figure and all this hype about PW'S or Lucas's . . what's the deal guys??!

The stock injectors on the pre (early 91) non intercooled Cummins will flow more fuel than the Power Wagons. If you want to smoke that 90 at the track, then the Lucas 300 HP marine injectors are your ticket. If you don't want to spring for the Lucas injectors, then you will need to crank the fuel screw in at least a full turn to see any significant increase in performance. In fact, I discovered my boost pressure dropped 4-5 psi after installing the Banks intercooler. It wasn't untill I cranked the fuel screw in a full turn, then I saw the real increase in performance.
