2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission which 2nd gen?

Thinking of moving up[?] from 92 1st gen to a 4x4 single wheel,manual trans. second gen. My 92 is in excellent conditon which is why I think I should make the move soon. My question is which of the years up to 99 would be the best to buy?

98 -12v -quad cab- 5 speed -long bed, if you find one let me know

I second what Bob said. My 98. 5 (24V) is getting it's 4th injection pump installed as we speak. 98 12 valve, tough find but worth it in my opinion.
