Hey guys Im looking at selling my oldest kid and picking up a younger model in the next month or so. Which of the 3rd gen trucks is the best? Ive been looking at all of them the last few days but cant make up my mind which to buy. TIA, Chris
I've had both, the 305 and the 325(see sig). As far as reliability, both left me stranded, both times my fault(u-joint,plastic i/c) The 305 has always ran smoother and seems to love to eat up u-joints. The 325 had worse fuel economy and sounded worse straight piped. Also the nv5600 is one beautiful thing. The 48re was very stout, but when worked started to show sighns of slipping and leaking out the dust cover. Be careful with the newer ones that have the g56, they seem to have considerably more problems then the 5600 had. All in all any 3rd gen will be more reliable than the 2 alternates
