New 600 lost in Mexico?

ME to MD and back

I need advice on 5th wheel and brake.

Considering the B&W Turnover Ball or the Superglide. Which one would be best for a short bed 4x4.

As for the brake, I have an automatic, so I will not be installing an exhaust brake, so which trailer brake would you recommend.

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated

I sure like the PullRite setup, I do not have the short bed sliding hitch, but have seen them work and they are sweet. I have no complaints about the Prodigy brake.

Thanks for the replys guys.

The Brakesmart is a lot more expensive, and looks like more work to install. However, after reading about it on the website, I think it will be worth the extra money and effert.

Looks like every agrees the Pullright Superglide is the best for a shortbed.

Thanks again for the free advice

I have an 03 2500 Short bed and I put on the B&W turnover ball and I love it. . It's so easy to get the trailer on and off and when I'm done I don't have a big, bulky thing to take off. . simply turn the ball upside down and have the whole bed again. I also have the prodigy brakes and they work so good I can't even tell the trailer is behind me until I look in my rear view. Trailer weighs about 10k.

RRoton if you want suggestions on 5vers you need to give some details. How much trailer do you want? (how heavy) How much you want to spend? Fulltimer, weekender or just a few times a year use? How many people/kids? I would also suggest you check out TrailerLife, Woodalls and other RV websites. As for me I am going with the Pullrite, Brakesmart and TrailAir Center Point Suspension on my 36' Travel Supreme River Canyon. FWIW
