Microtuner - Anyone using?

I seached for a thread on this, but didn't have any luck.

I'm just doing a survey to see who has had the best luck with thier Bomb resistant Transmissions. Oh yeah and how much did you spend?

97 12v 4x4. 3:54 gears 33X12. 50 tires

Tow a 6000 pound trailer twice a month

otherwise just hauls tools about 1500 lbs

Banks Stinger-plus,

Kat removed (for testing)

Banks system was for a California EGR equipped truck , but i have converted to a Non-EGR system (not sure if it makes a difference).

Star wheel cranked.

Timing soon to be advanced to 15. 5 *

Might move the plate forward ? Might be the wrong Banks plate for my combo?

Might go with different injectors in the Far future?

Hey Bob- You're gonna open a bomb of opinions here :-{} . There has been wars over this one before.

That being said, I had excellent luck with my DTT transmission setup on my 96. My truck was nearly identicle to yours Bombwise, and it held fine and towed beautifully. The difference is night and day.

I would call John Scott at Huntington Beach Dodge, (714) 847-5515. They are real close and John is a good guy and does very good work. He has a 96 bombed very similar to yours with a DTT in it if you want to see how one feels before you buy.

Good luck-

Here we go again!
