What 6.7 intake horn to use?

ZVT Stage II Clutch Shudder

I would like to get a power box but dont know which one would be best for me. I have a 04, 305HP I dont think its a 04. 5. It has 285's MT on it but will replace before winter when there ***** out, will go back to OEM BFG 265's since I can't get 20MPG out of it empty driving 65, I think this is the biggest culprirt for my fuel mileage. I drive 500 miles per week to work and want a little beter fuel mileage. I also do not want to spend any more than I need to.

I am thinking a Smarty JR (since I can readjust tire size latter) The truck has enough goose for me pulling mt GN trailers except when passing but a lot more miles empty.

A few more horses would be nice and some low boost smoke:-laf but more MPG is the main goal, truck has 97K on it now.

Any thoughts???

Thanks

I'm very happy with my Smarty on level three.

I have the same question for a tuner box. . Which one should I get out of these on this site?

Xtreme Diesel Performance - XDP Diesel Power Performance Parts - Chips - Modules - Programmers

I tow a heavy 5th toy-hauler, 19. 5 tires, 4" exhaust, Hybrid turbo. Stage 1 injectors, Jacobs. , I Sometimes tow a second utility trailer so I am very heavy then. . I have a very good fan, 6 speed manual, Ultra coolers on T/C, And I have the 150 FASS. So what should I get?

I am guessing you have a second gen truck, and not a common rail. For a VP44 powered truck I would suggest something more along the lines of an Edge box, or an Adrenaline. The smarty is great on the 3rd gens, but very limited really when it comes to 2nd gen trucks. I think there are better options out there. If you already have gauges you won't need the Juice with Attitude, just a Comp box, if you get an Adrenaline, I would suggest getting the Pulse monitor even with gauges as the amount of customization it allows for is astounding. Good luck on your choice...

I have never seen a quality problem with the smarty... ... ... Edge on the other hand has dropped in quality since their early days. I think I have pulled about an equal number of Edge boxes and Banks boxes

Ok,

Finally had a second to read the products on the website. . I am not sure if I want the Adrenaline or not. . Seems to be the Smarty is the way to go but I am also torn on the edge comp.

The Smarty has to be connected, programmed, then disconnected right? Not able to do things on the fly?. . without having something hanging or draped all over? It seems the edge comp can do that mounted on the console. . Can the Adrenaline work without the monitor?. . If so I might lean toward that one as I have fuel, boost and pyro gauges as well as trans on my 6 speed. all I am looking for is an easy adjustable box that will give me somewhere around 130hp boost... or more... :D . . I have money available for this purchase on the 22nd so I need to decide by then. . Keep the advice coming.

You won't be towing with an additional 130 hp without spending a ton more$ Eric

You would be better off going with some efficient injectors from the MACH series
