I was to the point of ordering a box for my truck and had decided on the Bully Dog DL with Outlook I read some posts about the quality of the outlook not being to good, mainly the plug in the back. And I am not convinced about the download part of it. Then I read where the Juice with Attitude was ready to ship today 12/20. Then I read where it had been postponed again. Which I am not surprised about. Now I have been reading about the TST Power max, and I don't know what to do. I don't plan on doing anything to my transmission and the main thing i am looking for is slight power and economy, with any of the above choices I was going to get a digital gauge setup for EGT. So what are your opinions about which is best? Or should I just go with manual gauges and a Edge EZ?

Edge EZ Good Power/Economy

If you're not going to do anything w/ your transmission, I suggest going w/ Edge EZ. Not sure what power improvements are on the 05s, but 70 hp and 160 ft lbs tq is pretty sweet on my 03 (349 RWHP). The plus is not only the added power, but the reshaped power curve.

IMHO, Edge is good!

Ron,

Better not let Viv hear you say that. :-laf :-laf :-laf Thought she didn't want anything done to her truck. :-laf

Keith,

The D/L works pretty good since they got it ironed out, on the 04 autos. I have analog gauges, so I can't comment on the outlook. If you want to save the transmission, the TST might be a bit much. I know for me, it would be too tempting to turn it up. :D I usually run my D/L in tow mode. Nice power, easy on the transmission, and mileage seems to be up a little, but I won't know for sure until I've run a few more tanks.

Correction...

Correction: My wife's 03. Jim she finds out she likes the upgrades as much as I do. It did take her two months before she'd let me install the aeroturbine muffler. Now, she smile everytime she starts up and takes off.

What can I say? Life is good in America!

Take care and have a nice Christmas.

PS: we've hit a terrrible cold spell down here recently; down in the mid 40s at night and upper 60s during the day. Brrr. :D

Keith,

I am in the same boat as you regarding the transmission. I also am not ready to increase the fuel. That is why I selected the TST. I run the TST on 3/3 and truck runs great. I added about 2 mpg and the truck runs sweet. When I am ready down the road for fuel and transmission all I need to do is bump the settings up. I also got the TST with integrated EGT so I can safely step on the pedal and if it gets to hot the TST defuels. Do some searches on TST and read up on it.

Ron,

Man, that's cold. Been in the low teens here at night, and the high teens during the day. :) You and Viv have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, too. See you later.

Keith the bullydog powerpup and outlook monitor work great the 90 hp performance setting is where you want to be without transmission upgrades the 130 competition then you will be looking for a torque convertor and valve body. The setup works like this you download the competition setting and the outlook monitor can defuel it or setup egt perameter's I'm receiving 18 of them tommorrow in the combo and I will be shipping out 15 so if you wan't one let me know
