Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Which Box?

A friend has a 98. 5 and wants to know which would be the best power box. He just wants to add more power, and wants a box that is easy to install. I remember reading something about the vanakan box that just plugs in without cutting any wires. What do you guys think?

i would check into diesel dynamics, they have the same ez box with their own mods done to them, they dont advance the timing as much as the others, and still produce the power. i just got one and love it. i paid real close to 400.
