I guess without the search enabled yet i'll just have to bug the general population of turbo heads again...

Which coolant are we using in the 12v's? I have read that both propoleyne glycol and ethlyene glycol are good good but you can't mix them. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Steve.

John Deere Cool Guard. $18 for 2. 5 gallons pre-mixed. I figure if it is good enough for a big JD, it will hold up just fine in my Cummins :) JMHO

It'a green?

JD says it can be used for extended periods as long as it is tested and, if the test calls for it, their additive should be added.

I'm going to run it two years and dump it. JMHO

I got Rotella ELC real cheap at BJ's. Case for @25. 00.

I called my local shop, they said it's good stuff, just be sure you get all of the old stuff out. Also, they said NOT to add and DCA's with this.
