Competition Which dif. for '03 tub job with 15" wheels

What dif has some of the tubbed street trucks ran when wanting to keep it somwhat streetable. 9" with 35 0r 41 spline, stock 10. 5 or 11. 5 with different ends, dana 80 with different ends. The diff will have to be cut down. Any thoughts from those that have done it on our trucks?

I used dana 60 with 35 spline axles from bear (spline count will depend on gear selection) spool locker etc.....

A Dana 60 should work for most people.



But it didn't work for me. I ended up breaking mine twice.



I ended up with a Dana 80 with custom billet Big Ford style ends.

Wilwood Brakes

etc...

On a side note.



The 70 would be fine, or a 60 would probably be o. k. as well.



I just happened to have an 80 laying around, and the 60 just didn't hold up to a transbrake launch pushing 5500 pounds.
