Can someone tell me how I determine which of the following differentials I have. I have a 2006 4X4 Quad Cab with a 6-speed manual. The front differential is stamped AAM but there is nothing on the rear. I've looked through the service manual and I can't figure out how to tell what I have.

Thank you

FRONT AXLE

² C205FD - MoparT Gear Lubricant 75W-90

² 9 1/4 AA - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90

² 9 1/4 AA EL- MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90

REAR AXLE

² 9 1/4 - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-140

² 10 1/2 AA - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90

² 10 1/2 AA EL- MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90

² 11 1/2 AA - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90

² 248RBI - MoparT Gear & Axle Lubricant SAE 90

NOTE: Trac-LokT differentials require Limited Slip Additive in the lubricant. Trac-Rite™ / Trac-Rite EL™ differentials

DO NOT require Limited Slip Additive.

I believe if you have a diesel you have the AA 11. 5. At least that is how my 06 is setup. Not sure about tags or stamps, though. Others will chime in...

9. 25 front, 11. 5 rear, 3. 73 was the only option with a 6spd IIRC. They are a helical gear type posi, no clutches so they do not need friction modifier. Should be a build tag under the hood or in the glove box that tells you what're truck came with.

To add to this, they are AAM axles and nothing more than 75W-90 is needed.
