Whoa back the truck up Mr. Dart. He can run Mach 2's and get less smoke, better low end, lower egt's and the same power as the DDIII's. I've run both and had lower smoke levels too with the mach2's.
He has a 180 pump. For the most part they are pretty forgiving with larger injectors. I don't know much about the EDM's and how agressive they are, but if they Mach 2's are like DDIII's or 370's I think the 180 pump would be ok.
I've got a set of Don M's Mach 3 EDM's with a 175hp p-pump with 191 DV's and a #5 TST plate, only have two problems, 1 is the stock clutch is going going gone, 2 is the EGT's will get very hot very fast. I'm very happy with the Mach 3's (they will not be coming out anytime soon )just have to get a different Turbo and a different clutch.
Mach 2 ( performance level between 215 and 370 marine )
Mach 3 ( same power as the 370 marine with less smoke)
Mach 4 ( 40 additional HP over the 370 with proper set-up)
