which Exhaust system?

I want to put a 4" exhaust on my truck. I have a Pac-Brake. Is there a exhaust system manufacture that has an exhaust system that will bolt to the pac-brake.



The problem I see with getting a system that goes from the turbo back is that the mounting brackets will all be in the wrong spot when trying to attach it at the back of a Pac-brake rather that the back of the Turbo.

Hey Tom, give Anthony from Big Exhaust a call. Good guy! His 4" kit is real nice and priced good too. 4" downpipe bolts up to a stock turbo so I would assume you'll be cool but I would call first.

Any of the turbo back systems should work, I know ours does anyway without any problems. When the Pac or any of the turbo mount brakes is installed it actually puts the brake outlet at the turbo in the same location as the factory turbo outlet, so the systems will be OK. We have even done two installs here with a Pac on the truck and it went smooth as glass, in fact you didn't even knwo the Pac was there as far as the installation of our exhuast system was conecened.

Tom C. I noticed you have a "95 CTD. Most of the replies you received are from members who have 24V trucks (1998 1/2 and newer). From my own experience, there IS a difference in exhaust systems, even though the Dodge books say otherwise (They say the numbers are all the same, from 94 to 02, so the parts are the same- they're NOT). I would let my fingers do the walking and call different suppliers, tell them what you have and what you need. My problems were with the tailpipe not matching up, I didn't go that far up the system. Tail Pipe different??

You are correct, we have a bracket for the 12 valve trucks that is required to install the same tail pipe as a 24 valve. We originally had a 12 and 24 valve tail pipe but had never liked the 12 valve hanger at the end of the tail pipe, it collects dirt and mud and just isn't that attractive either. With the bracket we just bolt the bracket to the frame and the 24 valve tail pipe just slips into the two rubber hangers on the bracket and off you go.

Mark @ DPPI, I should have taken my own advise and let my fingers do the walking. What a PIA it was getting the 24V tailpipe to fit my truck- but I did it!! I hope I can stop someone from having the same trouble I had.
