Looking for recommendations for fuel pressure gauges. Do I need a rail gauge AND a gauge to monitor pressure of the AirDog?

I only monitor the LP pressure, although there's nothing wrong with monitoring rail pressure. Some day I'd like to get a rail pressure gauge.

My gauge is a Dakota Digital, in service since 2005.

Just installed my rail pressure gauge 2day and fuel pressure will be in the next day or 2. But I went with Di-Pricol and fit finish quailty and all out looks. These gauges are second to none and well built! All metal case and match the factory gauges to boot! Love em, you get what you pay for!

After having both, I'd rather monitor rail pressure and have a simple light for the AirDog (or FASS in my case). I have a rail pressure guage, mechanical guage under hood, and a low pressure light on the FASS... I don't think I have looked at the guage under hood in months (and a light will catch your eye faster).

And you can still catch a plugging filter with a low pressure light, it will start flickering at WOT well before the filter actually plugs.

On the 3rd gens, your good as long as you have pressure to the CP3, its not as critical as the 2nd gen VP44s...
