This is my first diesel pickup 03 2500, I am wondering what 3 gauges would you get? boost, pyro and trans temp seem to be standard fare, but I wonder about fuel pressure as well. also when it comes to mounting them I am on the vertically challenged side so a dash mount might restrict my field of view, a-pillar is o. k. or has anyone used the console mount from Geno's? Thanks

Dash mount

I have the dash mount in my truck. I like it alot. I do not have an obstructed view. The dash mount is a little harder to do but worth it.

I am buying an 05' with pyro boost and trans on the khaki colored A pillar. The gauges are white letter black face not sure of the make/model. I will be changing this stuff out to a home made dash mount with maybe some Isspro Ev2 white face gauges. If you are interested in the A pillar stuff let me know.

Isspro boost, pyro, and transmission temp in a dash mount shoved back by the windshield. Helps keep my eyes on the road. Fuel pressure in A-pillar. I'm vertically challenged and I have no problem. I can snap a pic if you'd like.

That would be great scooter, a pic might help me make up my mind. Thanks for the offer
AMcCormic, is it a 3 gauge pod or 2?

Here you go... Sorry about the quality. I took it with my Droid in the dark. FYI, the Dash pod is just resting there, pushed back against the windshield. The wiring runs in a loom wedged out of sight between the back of the dash and the windshield to the driver's A-pillar and down. Keep in mind I used the dash cover from Geno's to keep the pod from slipping around. I've never had a problem with it moving/sliding around (but I have yet to roll my truck-knock on wood :D), and it makes it easy to access the gauges if a bulb ever goes out. You can also see it fits nicely between the Dash vents, and I think they're the same on your rig. Hope it helps. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the pic scooter, that looks do-able, and it looks nice. the BD Power gauge that BSMcCauley has is interesting too, (thanks for the pic as well BS), the dash mount appeals to me providing I can dim the gauge lights, my night vision is beginning to wane a bit and dash lights seem to make it even worse. Thank you both for helping! Joey

The wiring is plumbed right into the dimmer... works great!
