I have a 2006 ram 4x4 and need to change the oil in the front and rear diffs. I dont know which one I have to use? 75w-90 or 75w-140 or 85w-140? And also which one do you recommend Amsoil or Royal Purple? Thanks.

Manual says 75w90, but if your doing some serious towing all the time I would step it up to 75w140. I recomend Amsoil but any syn gear will do the job under sane intervals. If you use Amsoil, go for the new 75w110.

I use Amsoil 75/110 in mine. I don't tow very much and don't need the heavier oil for that. But this one will help out for when I do tow.

I am running the the 75W-90 Amsoil in mine. I was going to go to the 75W-110 but I had the 75W-90 on my shelf and needed to use it up.
