Which injectors should I buy?

Looking to add injectors for my next upgrade, what kind should I get? I thought the Bosch 215's used to be the ones to own? See signature for current mods. I tow about a 10K fifth wheel and EGT's can get pretty high if I keep my foot in it going uphill. Any suggestions on how to lower EGT's.



Would having my pump re-calibrated be worthwhile for performance and/or lowering EGT's? Thanks

370s from Piers are a great seal right now!!!!!

Get the 370s while the price is down you will not regret it as they are the foundation for more mods in the future. I towed with mine before adding the #11 plate and EGT was not a problem unless I wanted to accelerate up a steep with trailer (6500lbs). I could hold 70mph on almost any grade without EGT trouble. I believe the added power from 370s allowed me to hold steady partial throttle and climb hills where before I had to really romp on it on a big hill, now its no effort so Egt doesnt go up as fast. Now with #11 plate all the way forward thats another story, time for some EGT reducing mods but moving the plate back lets me tow without trouble.

I sure like my 370's!! For the price Piers is selling them for this month you can get them and the 191 delivery valves to support them for about the same money as a set of DD3s.

I like Piers' price and the 370s so much I may buy another set just to frame and put on the wall.

370's!!! With that #8 plate, you will have temperature issues. A BHAF might help a bit.

A 16cm2 housing will help also.

Thanks for the replies, WOW, looks like the 370's are the hot ticket, however, I am really concerned about EGT's and how to lower them, also... what will delivery valves do and are they needed with the 370's?



Any comments on the Bosch 215's? Thanks

I have the bosch 215s. Don't bother with them, go strait to DD2s or dd3s. That is what I wish I would have done. You will need some 191 delivery valves either way. My truck stumbles even with the 215s, next will be some dd3s and 191 delivery valves.
