I have a customer that I sold me Dad's 93 250 to. He is 70 yrs. old and mechanicly challenged. I now have him out picking up 5th wheels and travel trailers for my dealership. The 93 250 is auto, 3:54s and box stock. I did install a boost, pyro and trannie gauge set. Here is my question: What "mild" upgrade can I do to give him a bit more power? I do not want him to melt this motor. TST says they have a Turbo Housing Kit for $169 that is good for 20-30 HP. In reading the threads everyone leans to injectors. I love to hear about all the feats that folks do with their trucks. But guys, when you have a 10-12K 5th wheel behind you in 110 degee temps for 1,000 miles at a stretch, it calls for a little differant tweaking. I need him to have 190-200 HP and not burn it up. Can that be done??
