I have been considering putting a box on for a long time as you can see I have a 2001 HO. Which one is best the Edge EZ, the Power Comp, Blue Chip, JVD, TST, Bully Dog, Power Puck, BD power. I just don't know what to buy. I will not be replacing the stock clutch for a while and I want to go light on it. I have the chance to buy a power puck for 200 brand new. I was serioulsy looking hard at the Edge EZ, BD Power, TST, Bully dog, ok so I haven't narrowed it down I am still learning about these motors.

If your not replacing the clutch get the Power Edge EZ.

If you are upgrading/replacing the clutch

Power Edge Comp or TST Power Max 3.

comp

I like my comp, even with BD II inj. clutch holds up until level 5-5 then she starts to slip, buy a comp now so you don't have to sell your EZ later , Also the comp with out the injector pump wire tapped is the same hp as the EZ:D Oo.

Ok so the comp is the exact same hp as the ez as long as you don't hook up the fuel pump wire? what are the hp numbers exactly? what level would you use? Thanks to all

Re: edge boxes

I was told by Aaron at Edge Products that even if you do tap the pump wire, the Comp on setting 1x5 is the same as an EZ box. I specifically asked him that, because I wanted to be able to tell how much of a difference the Comp made over the EZ I had on before. But either way, you can get a Comp box and run it as if it were an EZ. Oh, you can also run with the Comp turned completely off and it will still act as a boost module, according to Aaron at Edge.
