Which leveling kit:poly or steel??

Does anyone know which of the leveling kits is the best? I have seen two differentt configurations. The steel and the poly one. Now it looks to me like the steel one would logically be tougher, but I seem to read a lot of posts with people putting the poly unit on. Is one better that the other and if so could you tell me why

I would go steel. Poly just doesnt sound right with all that weight on it.

What about the track bar??

Are people sticking their head in the sand on this? I took a quick look, saw no provision for adjustment- or am I missing something?

2" is as tall as I trust the poly. Steel for 3" and up.

Poly will work fine. Poly don't rust nor give.

Steel works fine also. Usualy the steel ones are cheaper.

I used the steel spacers and one leveling shim one each side. On the track bar I put several washers on the threaded rod to extend the track bar so to speak. Has worked fine for 60k.

I have Poly

I have had the 2" poly in for 45K I don't run the h3ll out of it off road but I do go off road more then most.

So far so good.
