I own a 2007. 5 Cummins 3500 4x4 single wheel ... I am wondering which lift would suit my needs and my wallet. My intentions are to get a lift the will allow me to run 35x12. 50's ( which i currently have with no lift) plus in the future be able to get offset rims and a front end replacement bumper. I would like to know what height and what brand lift you guys believe would suit me best without making my truck ride like a tank.

Don Thuren @ Thuren Fabrications :805-886-9250 or Sage,Mike or Jesse@ Carli Suspension:714-532-2798. Either company will set you up.

I went with Carli's starter system. It rides MUCH better than stock, just don't forget you're still driving a 1 ton and it's only going to be so good. My 35's rubbed at lock and under any flex, so keep that in mind. Now some will say that they won't rub, i'm just stating MY experience. Also lifting and big tires is all fun and great until you put about 5 miles on it and realize your steering sucks and your ball joints are shot. If you're going to go, go all the way. Order Don's (Thuren) steering kit and track bar. Get Carli's suspension and ball joints and be done with it and love your truck. I love watching the pavement pounders with there low dollar lift kits bouncing down the road while trying to keep it going straight. They look like NASCAR drivers trying to keep the tires hot on a caution lap:-laf. Just spend the money, do it right the first time, and be done with it.
