Maxcare, Added care or the powertrain? 2019 Ram 3500 MC Dually HO cummins and Aisin.
Thanks for all opinions....truck is a limited and I just turned over 12,000 miles.

i bought my maxcare the month my bumper to bumper warranty was going to expire. no need for 2 warranties at the same time, especially when you pay for one of them. some say you can buy the warranty from a dealer for similar price as buying one online. i did the online thing. i chose the one that basically extended my bumper to bumper for another 3 years or 30k miles. not that expensive either. i used chryslerwarranties.com ( might check the spelling on that ) good luck, and cheers! :)

I bought the one the dealer had. They are going to service and warranty it. Only time it will go someplace else is a on the road emergency issues. Sorry I don’t know what it’s called

Maxcare with the longest term and the lowest deductible you can afford. Maxcare has always paid for itself for me.

Note, you can buy the maxcare online way way cheaper than you can from the dealership.

Lots of past discussions on the forum regarding this subject but in the end dealer offered programs are weak on emissions and turbo.
Buyer beware!

I bought the Maxcare 8 Yr 125K with Zero deductable for my 2017 6.4 Hemi. When I traded it in over 4 Yrs later with only 21K on the odometer I got a $1500 refund.
Never got the use out of that truck that I thought I was going to.
Now with my 2021 3500 Cummins I'll wait to see how the Mileage adds up before I get the warranty. Oh yeah, We have a Toy Hauler now so I'm sure it will add up.

Thanks for the tips folks! I too got talked into the dealership offered warranty but it was thru CNA not Mopar. I finally got a refund on it so wanted to know what was needed for my truck. CNA does not cover the fuel system, think they may know something lol.

He should read past postings as this has been thoroughly discussed. In the end, turbo I can personally tell you max care saved me over 10k on a eco diesel failure 1500 miles from home. They paid for food, lodging, towing and no question asked for a part that took 5 weeks to deliver. The very rare technician gave us priority because of the plan. When it's towed into the dealer you are in the system. Sorta like family. Your plan??? Hey if you don't leave far from home then maybe it's the best decision. For me, I'm nation wide so your decision is not a good one.

Best of luck sir.
