I need to replace the lower control arm bushings in my truck & thought I should go ahead & get some tubular (stronger) control arms. Which do you guys have & recommend? Skyjacker, DT, other?? Thanks!

I was thinking of doing the same. DT profabs I-beam style ones look nice. Solid Steel makes an adjustable lower arm, but $$$. I don't know about the others. I wonder if you will beable to get much from lift companies since you are only leveled. I would guess most of their arms are longer to accomidate for the lift. Hopefully someone will chime in with better info.

either KORE, pro fab, or the long arm dick cepek (now marketed under a new name... ).

Even the Rancho zinc plated arms are not bad... Kore even says the Rancho arms are fine...

I like those KORE Chase Series, any idea on price? I'll go search for an online outlet. I also like the Skyjacker (standard?) arms. My truck is (mostly!) Red so they would look good.

KORE is out. They do not have the chase series for 2nd gen. What are the Dick Cepek arms? Anybody have a link to what the new name is? Also how long do the heim joints last on a daily driver?

The Cepek Long Arm Kit is made for trucks with a 6" lift.

They cannot be used on a stock suspension.

But Cepek makes other control arms.

Dick cepek also makes a 2" leveling kit that comes with control arms. I saw a new set on ebay for about $150. 00.

email from KORE

I emailed them for a price & told them what truck I had. This was the reply.

Unfortunately, the Chase control arms do not fit the 94-02 models.

Currently the price on the arms are $740. Sorry we didn't have better news

for you.

KORE

Oh & they are near $800!!!!

Hey TRAMPLINEMAN~

How do you like DT arms? I was looking at going with the 1/2 forward arms to re-center the front end with my leveling kit.

Hey rivercat, I was just wondering why you or anybody else would'nt recommend Tuff Country? I was just looking around for a 3" kit and saw their's. Who has the best product at reasonable $$? I don't want to buy junk! :-laf

Just installed them last night. Very easy install, took about an hour for all four and the skid plates. They seem to be very well built and would be easy to change bushings if need be. I got the stock arms being I'll never lift this truck.

They are the stock length. I think they're a big improvement over stock. They don't have the rubber bushings like the stockers did, mine were torn and weathered. They have like a nylon based bushing, it's a two piece setup that slip in from each end. They can be easily changed out. Along with being well built, I really like the looks of them.
