I've always used the fleetguard LF3894 oil filters from Genos. So today I see that Genos has two other fleetguard filters that are listed to also work with my truck, an LF16035 and a LF3972. Other than the fact that these other filters cover more year model there is no info as to why these are better or worse, anybody know the difference?

wlowe, the LF16035 is the same as the LF3894 except the end is ribbed for easier removal with a tool. So it would be a great choice.

The LF3972 is a lower grade filter (non synthetic, just your typical cellulose media), so you don't want that one if you want a quality filter.

Thanks Vaughn, appreciate the help.
