I have not taken the time to order in bulk for my 24 valve.

Which one do I use, fleetgaurd? Baldwin? Fancy fleetgard or cheap fleetgaurd? Been using mobils.

I've been buying Fleetgaurg through Geno's with great luck.

I usually order 6 oil filters and 3 fuel filters at a time therefore dividing shipping cost over more parts.

The "fancy" fleetguard isn't fancy; it's the bare minimum that the CTD deserves. Besides, it's made by a subsidiary of Cummins, so they're doing it right.

Do not void your warranty

There is a list of approved filters for the ISB engine. Stick with fleetguard,Mopar , and a few others. I use 3894 Stratapore [fleetguard] and change at 3500 miles.

The only non cummins/fleetguard/mopar filters you can use are FL896 motorcraft , L45335 Purolator, and PF 1070 AC Delco

Use of filters other than these will void your warranty on failures related to the filter or its sealing compounds coming apart inside the engine.

The TSB relating to this is 09-004-01.

Hope this helps
